PlaceTile Designs began in 1998 when Kristin Bowen, the creator and designer, was planning her 1920's styled wedding. She decided to resurrect an idea of the past that would add the finishing touch to her reception tables and serve as a party favor for her guests. This idea turned into the first PlaceTile®, a write and erase ceramic place card. Since then her collection has grown to include a vast array of PlaceTiles and other beautiful ceramic accessories for the table and home. Her design inspirations are from centuries ago, some dating back as far as 1500 B.C. The Signature of her design is that virtually every piece is embossed or engraved. In addition, any detailed color is hand painted.
Most all of our products are nicely gift boxed with a dry-erase pen with built in eraser.
